Ice breaker by Hannah grace book review

Image
I really adore this book. I adore that both characters give us their points of view. This is something I have trouble discovering in most books, but this one was really well written. I adore how the characters interact with one another, how the narrative and storyline were all spot on, and how there were no superfluous details. Although I don't like spicy food, I did forgo some of it, other than that, everything was OK. Everything was flawless. .. I would love to reread it for the first time, and I heartily suggest it to anyone who is having trouble reading. This book is a ten out of ten; it has all the necessary elements—drama, spice, and expected love—and has completely lifted my reading slump. I plan to read more works by Hannah Grace. I am sorely missing unexpected love 🥺. A playlist is also included with this book 💼 Alright, hot alert 🌶️ 🤤 The protagonists of this book are a guy named Nathaniel and a girl named Anastasia. Because the world always has a different plan for ...

things we never got over book review

Image
adored this book ❥ The ideal book that balances sunlight and grit, casual dating,   and "you-are-it-for-me" Rowan, a multibillionaire and Dreamland director, and Zahra, a worker, possess a captivating relationship that makes it clear what will happen next. It was heated as hell as they kissed for the first time. The characters have their own challenges and anxieties, but they don't carry any horrifying trauma or baggage. Just as it's acceptable to be normal—just like everyone else—it's also acceptable to be unique. Just like Zahra saw the light in Rowan, the appropriate person will always see it in you as well.  My favorite parts are the epilogue and the final two chapters where he confesses his love for Zahra. This novel also discusses individuals with various abilities, and Ani and Rowan's bond is so genuine! Overall, it was a worthwhile book that you will either love or at the very least like. I hope you like reading! The idea is new. Sure, there is a littl...

Every summer after by Carley Fortune book review

Image
"A radiant debut."--Emily Henry, People We Meet on Vacation author and #1 New York Times bestselling book BOOK OF THE YEAR 2022 THAT IS HIGHLY EXCITED—PopSugar To fall in love takes six summers. It only takes a moment to crumble. A whole weekend to get it perfect. It is said that you can never go home again, and Persephone Fraser has found that to be all too true ever since she committed the biggest mistake of her life ten years ago. She spends her summers in a chic flat in the city, going out with friends and keeping everyone at a safe distance from her heart, rather than the shimmering shoreline vacations she remembers from her childhood. That is, until she gets the call that forces her to return quickly to Barry's Bay and into Sam Florek's life, the guy she never imagined having to live without. Percy and Sam had been inseparable for six summers, spending warm nights and foggy afternoons on the sea, working at his family's restaurant, and curling up with book...

twisted games Review

Image
All girls disregard social conventions, and even princesses fantasize about these boys. The second book in the Twisted series, I.Was.Hooked, is called Twisted Games. The hard and sweet sections and the sensual parts make this book a FANTASY and FAIRYTALE.  I will give it a thousand thumbs up. This book was finished faster than I've ever read before. I wish I could reread it because the people and the situations are written so exquisitely that I wish I could.  Not to mention when this 6.5-inch Gunmetal Grey-eyed bodyguard, who never believes in any attraction or relationship with any client, throws his arms to this one woman and says, "Come here, Princess. You will melt on the spot," Bridget and Rhys' forbidden love is so light and beautiful.  Despite being a princess, Bridget's character is incredibly likable, and you will be able to feel every feeling she experiences—from the weight of the title and crown to her frustrations and love for Rhys.  The Twisted se...

twisted love by Ana huang book review

Image
a combination of so many buried feelings and hotness, Twisted Love, the first novel in the Twisted series, is every girl's dream come true. "Forget a beat, my heart skipped a song," it says. Because of how masterfully the characters are written, I genuinely think Ana is a creator of a lovely universe rather than a writer. You won't even attempt to leave it.   You will fall in love with every knot in Ava and Alex's Twisted relationship because it is so stunning. You will be pleased with these girls' friendship as well as their affection because it is so genuine and organic. Ava had no idea that she would fall in love with Alex, a sculptor who exudes emotion and is a living emotionless statue. Alex Volkov was happy with his life and had no idea that it lacked "sunshine" until Ava entered his life and made him feel everything!   My darling girls, you have no idea what you are missing if you are unsure whether or not to read it. I can't eve...

the Silent patient a book that will not let you leave the seat

Image
A compelling and evocative psychological thriller, "The Silent Patient" will have you engrossed until the very last page. This book is a work of literary art, skillfully crafted and cleverly organised, providing an engrossing fusion of mystery, suspense, and psychological investigation.   Alicia Berenson, the mysterious protagonist, captivates you from the beginning with her horrific act of violence and her ensuing quiet. With deft narrative, the author creates a web of mystery that slowly comes apart, exposing Alicia's origins and the circumstances that lead to her current situation on layer after layer. The reader becomes fixated on the mystery surrounding her silence and is determined to find the truth no matter what. The story switches back and forth between the perspectives of Theo Faber, a psychiatrist who is trying to break through Alicia's reticence, and herself, as told through her candid diary entries. Theo is a complicated and fallible figure in and o...

verity a book by colleen hoover full of mystery

Image
I want to start this review by saying that over the past few weeks, several people have promoted Verity to me. Since I love to read, I couldn't help but notice that Colleen Hoover, sometimes known as "CoHo," had four of the most popular books on Goodreads. That makes sense, right? I always thought that most of her books were written by hopeless romantics, so I didn't think this was my cup of tea. However, I thought this book had the ideal amount of sexual, romantic, and just fantastic thriller/suspenseful moments. I read Verity in less than a day after becoming engrossed on the first page (I'm not sure if this is due to the book's large text or its excellent blend of both). The icing on the cake arrived towards the very end. This novel is exactly what I want from a novel—I read it less than five minutes ago, and I'm still trying to figure out how it ended. My mind is racing. What actually happened in that Vermont house? Although it is very difficult fo...

If he had been with me book review

Image
This work was simple to read. Something that kept drawing me in to continue reading. I never realized I could have such strong feelings for characters in books I pick up for "leisure" reading, but it made me feel that way about Autumn. Sometimes I thought I would experience all she was feeling. It's rather remarkable, isn't that what books are for, or why anyone should read at all? Perhaps it was because I could identify with Autumn and predict her next move or thought. The reviews take me aback. I myself love reading a lot of books, and I'm not at all inspired by the TikTok app, which I don't own.I was searching for a new genre to read that wasn't my usual "sci-fi dystopian" books when I went to the bookstore. I found this book, and even though I dislike corny romance, I was hesitant to buy it after reading the synopsis. Nevertheless, I made the purchase.  I fell in love with this book after reading it. Though she exuded the usual 'I'm d...

A Good Girl's Guide Murder by holly Jackson's book review

Image
Gosh! The voice is spot-on, and this book is really fantastic. I was captivated by the writing until the end since it moves quickly and has just the appropriate twists and turns. A Good Girl's Guide to Murder's finale twist was executed quite well, unlike many other thrillers that end abruptly. Every chapter reveals something fresh and more enigmatic than the last. Every chapter points the finger at a different individual, only to reveal in the following chapter that it might be someone else. I liked how the case was resolved step-by-step by double-checking all the information and looking for gaps in the research. Pippa, our main character, is the ideal investigative journalist/detective in training. She is courageous, strong, logical, inquisitive, and driven. Above all, she has the bravery to take all necessary steps to settle a situation like this. "I've already learned my lesson: go ask them why they are lying about a girl who was murdered." That's great ...

The suffering of fresh starts is experienced by readers in "It Starts With Us."

Image
The follow-up to Colleen Hoover's best-selling book and BookTok hit, "It Ends With Us," is titled "It Starts With Us." The sequel picks up just where "It Ends With Us" left off, guiding the reader through the complexities of life following divorce and domestic violence. Compared to its predecessor, "It Starts With Us" is a lighter read that lets the reader experience Atlas and Lily's connection as they work through their divorce, find family, and begin a new life after trauma. Hoover portrays a "second-chance" romance in many respects, switching back and forth between Atlas and Lily's perspectives. For a complete understanding of the significance of some of the little events in "It Starts With Us," you must first read "It Ends With Us." Hoover clearly has faith in her readership and doesn't hold back when exploring difficult subjects in any of her books; in "It Starts With Us," for example...

It ends with us a story with a story with thousands reader and thousands deferent views

Image
I have to admit that my initial expectations for Colleen Hoover's book, It Ends with Us, were exceeded. This particular book was read by my closest friend, who told me it was her favorite. I scoffed at her, thinking it was just another corny love story with no substance. But, my, I would have known better what I was getting myself into. It was so fantastic that I included it in my list of the best books I've read this year. Its plot structure also incorporates several powerful life lessons that will undoubtedly impart some knowledge to you. But, my, I would have known better what I was getting myself into.
