A Good Girl's Guide Murder by holly Jackson's book review
Gosh! The voice is spot-on, and this book is really fantastic. I was captivated by the writing until the end since it moves quickly and has just the appropriate twists and turns. A Good Girl's Guide to Murder's finale twist was executed quite well, unlike many other thrillers that end abruptly.
Every chapter reveals something fresh and more enigmatic than the last. Every chapter points the finger at a different individual, only to reveal in the following chapter that it might be someone else. I liked how the case was resolved step-by-step by double-checking all the information and looking for gaps in the research.
Pippa, our main character, is the ideal investigative journalist/detective in training. She is courageous, strong, logical, inquisitive, and driven. Above all, she has the bravery to take all necessary steps to settle a situation like this.
"I've already learned my lesson: go ask them why they are lying about a girl who was murdered." That's great if you manage to obtain the paperback. However, with this one, I strongly suggest listening to the audiobook. It would be fantastic if there were a single phrase to sum it up.
Each narrator performed quite well. The actual audio phone calls and the vlog entries that were intercut with the narration were just as amazing as the dialogue and the usual narration. You have my word that I would definitely give the narration an additional star.
